While a president’s work is far too busy and even farther from done, it does eventually have to come to an end. With his wife Marilyn (far left in yellow jacket) standing in full support, CSUSB President Albert Karnig announced at convocation in September that their work at the university would be done at the close of the academic year. For that dedicated work, he drew an extended standing ovation from the more than 1,000 campus staff and faculty. Read President Karnig’s thoughts on retiring in Passing on the torch.
